With backpacking hunters and outdoorsmen in mind, the Backpacker is a lightweight knife designed for skinning and utility.  A tribute to Chris' original 1980s Backpacker design, the newest iteration echos Chris' original details with modern materials. Its blade provides ample belly and a drop point shape for more control.  Its canvas Micarta handles provide comfort without sacrificing agility, though they can be removed for deep cleaning or extra-lightweight hiking.  The slim KYDEX® sheath fits snugly with the Backpacker's handles on or off.  Razor-sharp and made to last, the Backpacker will work hard from the backcountry to home.
