Auto Knife Policy

SB 108 was just passed in DE removing the restriction on selling and possessing automatic knives. The bill is now awaiting the Governor's signature. Pending his signature, our Policy for Automatic Knives is as follows:

Automatic Knife Policy

By placing an order for an automatic knife from Willey Knives you are indicating that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your state) and truthfully agree to your status as one or more of the exemptions listed below.

Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:

1) To civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
2) To supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization;
3) To supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;
4) To manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).

It is your sole responsibility as the purchaser of an automatic knife, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, and federal laws with regard to the possession and use of automatic knives.

By placing an order, you represent that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the purchaser is of legal age.

Willey Knives will not be held liable for the misuse or misrepresentation of purchaser.

Willey Knives will not ship automatic knives to the following states or areas ... CA, CT, DC, MN, NM, NJ, WA or Chicago, IL. If you order an automatic knife to be shipped to one of these places, we will have to cancel your order. 

Willey Knives will not ship automatic knives to APO addresses or mail centers, nor will we ship automatic knives via the United States Postal Service (per Federal Law). Any post office box addresses will be cancelled for these orders. All automatic knife orders will be moved from USPS to UPS ground if USPS is selected for a physical address.
