The first defining feature of this remarkable knife is its blade. Precision machined from Spyderco's proprietary CPM® SPY27® particle metallurgy stainless steel, it is meticulously laser cut to create a skeletonized profile of the Statue of Liberty. It is then laser engraved on both sides with detailed artwork of that iconic national symbol. The tumbled finish of the full-flat-ground blade further enhances the contrast of the engraving to make this knife one of the most visually unique that Spyderco has ever produced.

Not to be outdone, the handle of this Exclusive Para Military 2 features stunning Fatcarbon® "Black Dunes" solid carbon fiber scales. Forged from 70% carbon fiber and 30% epoxy resin using only renewable solar and wind energy, this state-of-the-art material features a subtle tri-color scheme between each layer of carbon fiber that highlights the complexity of its Damascus-like layered pattern with an iridescent sheen. The scales are meticulously machined to house nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that provide the foundation of the knife's high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism.

To ensure convenient carry and instant access, the handle includes a four-position pocket clip that offers a choice of left- or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry and is complemented by a lined lanyard hole for the easy attachment of fobs or lanyards.
